Passion for systems thinking, high-level strategic analysis, abstract conceptual thinking, risk assessment, problem-solving, and evidence-based approaches to predicting and understanding markets. But also passionate about deeper philosophical and psychological questions. Abiding interest in how we can improve ourselves and our societies. Genuinely curious about other people and how they think and what matters to them.
Outsider status as core strength, intellectual nomad, moves
easily between tribes but belongs to none. At home everywhere and
nowhere. Loves balance between rural life and city life, but with a strong preference for the former, as it is more
conducive to a contemplative life.

If the decision is reversible, make the decision quickly with low friction using bounded rationality.
If the decision is irreversible, make the decision slowly with plenty of friction.
When you have to make essential decisions, ensure you are well fed and well rested, have mental whitespace, and are not operating from a place of scarcity.
